What It Is

Precision.
Not paralysis.

Neuromodulators temporarily relax the muscles responsible for dynamic lines — the creases formed by repeated facial movement like squinting, frowning, and smiling. Botox and Jeuveau both work by blocking the nerve signal that causes the muscle to contract. The result is smoother skin above, with natural expression fully preserved below.

At (R)Evolution, we treat with clinical precision — targeting specific muscles rather than blanket areas. Every unit placed intentionally.

Jeuveau vs. Botox

Two options.
One goal.

Both are FDA-approved neuromodulators. Jeuveau is a newer formulation made exclusively for aesthetic use — some patients find it works faster or lasts slightly longer. Botox has the longest clinical track record in the industry. Mike will advise which is right for your treatment area and goals at your consultation.

The Process

Four steps.
One session.

01

Consultation

Mike assesses your facial anatomy and discusses your goals. He'll map out exactly which muscles to target and how many units are needed.

02

Treatment

A series of precise micro-injections using ultra-fine needles. Most patients describe it as a brief pinch. Session takes 10–15 minutes.

03

Results

Visible in 3–7 days. You'll notice softening of movement while retaining natural expression. No frozen look.

04

Maintenance

Results last 3–4 months. Regular treatments at this cadence can train the muscles to relax over time, meaning some patients need fewer units long-term.

Common Questions

Everything you
want to know.

How many units will I need?

It depends on the treatment area and the strength of your muscles. Forehead lines typically require 10–20 units; crow's feet 10–12 units per side; frown lines 20–30 units. Mike will give you a precise recommendation during your consultation.

Does it hurt?

Most patients describe it as a brief pinch per injection site. We use ultra-fine needles and can apply a topical numbing cream if needed.

Will I look frozen?

Not with Mike's technique. We target specific muscles with precise unit counts — softening movement while preserving the expressions that make your face yours. No overdone results.

How long do results last?

Typically 3–4 months. Results vary by patient and treatment area. Regular treatments at this cadence can extend duration over time.

Is there downtime?

None. You can return to normal activities immediately. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and lying face-down for 4 hours post-treatment.

What's the difference between Botox and Jeuveau?

Both are FDA-approved neuromodulators that work the same way. Jeuveau is made exclusively for aesthetic use and tends to have a slightly faster onset (visible in 2–5 days vs 3–7 for Botox). Botox has the longest clinical track record of any neuromodulator. Mike will advise which is best for your treatment area and goals at your consultation.

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effects are mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site — these typically resolve within a few hours to a day. In rare cases, patients may experience temporary drooping of the eyelid or brow, usually associated with incorrect placement technique. This is why provider experience matters: Mike has 30+ years of clinical precision and a deep understanding of facial anatomy.

What areas can be treated?

The most common areas are forehead lines, frown lines (the "11s"), and crow's feet. Mike also treats brow position (brow lift), the upper lip (lip flip), neck bands (platysma), jaw tension and teeth grinding (masseter), and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Treatment areas are always confirmed during your personal consultation.
